H&M Launches Online Store and Opens New Unit in Hungary
Cushman & Wakefield secured premium, over 1,700 sq m retail space for Swedish fast fashion retailer H&M in Budapest’s well performing Mammut II Shopping Centre.
The new, over 1,700 sq m H&M unit opened on the 16th of April, 2015 in the former Libri unit in Mammut II.
Lori Orosan, Expansion Manager at H&M said: “Opening a store in Mammut Shopping Centre in Budapest is a very important step in H&M’s life in Hungary. After a long series of negotiations with the landlord we are happy with the transaction and we expect outstanding performance from this new store, very much in line with the country performance.”
At the same time, the fashion retailer announced the launch of H&M’s Shop Online in three new markets, including Hungary. H&M’s Shop Online will offer the same collections online as in-store giving customers access to a wide range of clothing and accessories including ladies, men's, teens and a full children’s line. There will also be exclusive “online-only” items available all year-round.
